What does the NZTRA logo mean?

The logo is made up of the initials of the association and a Pacific/Polynesian/Maori sail. The koru is symbolic of life. The sail relates to our position geographically in the South Pacific and is symbolic of the journey we are on as an evolving profession in New Zealand and the world. The sail colour is reminiscent of tapa cloth. The structural shape of the triangle is strength, and the slanting of the lettering gives a sense of movement and direction. Other qualities come to mind of being in a vessel together in unity, going the distance, trust, and faith.
